My beer was superb, a light, hoppy and unpretentious beer bursting with taste, very easy to drink,a beer style I really enjoy.

We opted to have Krombacher beer, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling ,it was so good enjoying a cold beer and planning out the day ahead in this most eclectic of cities. We sat outside, we got a beer each and took in the great bar we were in ,the unique open air theatre that I would imagine would be cool to attend a performance and the stunning location with Museum Island and in particular the magnificent Bode Museum building as a stunning backdrop. My twin brother Stephen and I had just explored Museum Island on a roasting hot Saturday afternoon, we were heading over to James Simon Park when we chanced upon what we thought was a cut riverfront bar along the River Spree but is in fact an open air theatre with a nice bar. Show length is approx 1.5 hours incl break. Die Antwoords image is based on a counterculture movement known as zef in South Africa. The group was formed by rappers Ninja and Yolandi Visser (stylized as ¥O-LANDI VIER), and God (formerly referred to as DJ Hi-Tek). Uncertain if the venue has an elevator to reach the sub-terrain theatre. Die Antwoord (Afrikaans for 'The Answer') is a South African rap-rave group formed in Cape Town in 2008. Booking tickets online is helpful and might save you time on event day. The decision is yours, but the higher price does not get you more value, on the contrary. We had a table literally next/behind the stage which we eventually had to share with a couple which had 'free seating' tickets. On site, we learned that the 'Lieblingsplätze' are located along the outer circle of the theatre and, with EUR 33 per head, are truly overpriced - considering that the 'free seating' for below EUR 20 gets the seats directly at and in front of the stage with perfect view from every seat.

With 4 comedians plus moderator, the highlights were less than 50% of the show for which we had booked 'Lieblingsplätze' online, a term used for a fixed reservation with table. The last comedian, cannot remember his name, was fantastic with his poetry slam / rap style story telling. Highlight of the show for us was Daphne Deluxe with her personal reviews of every-day-experiences. The LIVE SHOW we went to was moderated by Roberto Capitoni, who started out well but became a terrible bore after a while when repeating himself with variations about his multicultural background.

Big enough for larger crowds, small enough for the comedians to include the audience in the show. The comedy club is located in a sub-terrain venue of the Friedrichstadtpalast and fabulous as a venue.
